Talkio editorial policy

Talkio publishes practical guidance about language learning and its own products. We have a commercial interest in Talkio; comparisons should help readers understand both the fit and the limitations of each option.

Authorship and editorial ownership

An existing named byline identifies the credited author. Articles published under Talkio AI identify the organization as author. Editorial owners are assigned responsibility for maintaining articles; assignment alone does not mean that person originally wrote, independently tested, or has already reviewed every claim.

Our editorial owners are Grzegorz Markowski, Taylor Freeman, Theis Froehlich, and Kier Lee Zamora. Articles are grouped by month for stable ownership. For repository articles without a verified publication date, the first recorded source month is used only to allocate responsibility, not as a publication date.

Sources, evidence and corrections

Product comparisons should link to official sources and state when details were checked. Scientific claims should distinguish external research from evidence about Talkio itself. Our own analyses should explain the observation period, selection criteria, measurement and limitations. Automated assessment scores are not language qualifications.

AI tools may assist with drafting and editing. A named editorial owner is a point of responsibility, not a claim of independent scientific review. Send corrections through Talkio support with the page URL and the claim that needs attention.

Dates and updates

We show publication or substantive update dates when they are documented. We do not turn a migration, deployment or ownership assignment into a new publication date. Older articles may therefore have no displayed date. A date should change when the article's information changes, rather than simply to make it appear fresh.
